Sorry I’m a bit behind in posting…..hoping to catch you up very soon 🙂
Friday night we had tickets to see the Loons (yes that is the name of Midland’s minor league baseball team!) with the entire family. Before the rain came down we saw….yup, pretty much no ball game!
The tarp came out
and then the fun began!
family joke, but this was Vegas all over again!
standing around chatting is a wonderful thing!

Chuck, Vic (brother in law) and Paul (brother). However, we don’t use “in-law” status, we are all FAMILY!
even though the game was eventually called off due to rain (after 2 hours, but who noticed?) dad had us all sit in our seats to “look” like we were watching a game!
I would randomly break out a hug and family gladly accepted <3

They eventually called off the game but they did have fireworks (sorry no photo) and we did have our names in lights!
celebrating our 30th anniversary this month!
It was a wonderful evening of family fun….honestly, if the ball game had been going on I probably wouldn’t have noticed anyway! I do have to thank our beautiful niece (Erynn) for the beautiful photos….thanks girl I love you!

For our Kenyan kids…..please know we are keeping you (and staff) in prayer. Kids, I’ll be putting together video of happenings on our trip so we can share with you. We love you all and miss you! We ask for your continued prayers as well that God’s will be done throughout this trip!
