I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12-13
At this very moment the house is quiet, kids are at work and hubby is having coffee with a friend. It’s just me and the pets.
I’m looking at our calendar seeing our time in Arizona is quickly coming to an end and I feel a slight shutting down of my resolve….I know God wants me to return to Kenya, that is not the issue. It’s leaving behind family and friends who have quickly and effortlessly become a large part of my heart. Being “emotionally strong” throughout the goodbyes will not be an easy endeavor but I trust and know my strength comes from God, not my emotions (thank goodness!).
We have been truly blessed by friends and family who continually over flow our quota of quality time. You have energized me, refreshed my mind and given me much love in which to return to C4KK and give that love back to those around us.
