Today is Thanksgiving but shouldn’t every day be a day of thanks? When I think about what I have in my life I have to admit I have created none of it! My Father has blessed me with friends and family who love on me, He continually provides for the kids and staff at C4KK, the food I eat is “created” by those with the gift of cooking, the breath I take is God-breathed into me, the surgeries I’ve had were handled by those given the gift of learning how to do surgery, my 4 children are miracles because of the awesomeness of conception, He molded a man to become my husband…and the list goes on.
Everything accomplished at C4KK has been provided for by our Heavenly Father. He brought people on board to fund projects, sponsor kids, provide salaries, supply food and send kids to school. I have simply been a vessel in which the provision from God flows from you to C4KK…and yes I am thankful for you!
Each day is a testament to the wonders of God’s love, mercy, forgiveness and grace. It would do me well to remember that more often than one day a year and I pray I do thank Him regularly.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

Just as a side note….we had about 20 turkeys strutting around the front yard this morning. Guess they felt pretty secure knowing most turkeys were already in the oven!
