Yes we have begun construction on the upper floor of the Mission Home! I will be getting more photos and video but wanted to show you how material is transported from the ground to the upper floor.
First when the stones are delivered to the compound they are stacked and counted. The sand is dumped in a pile where it won’t interfere with walking/driving paths on the compound.
One guy fills a sack with sand and walks it up the staircase, while another worker puts a stone on his shoulder and walks that up the staircase…one sack, one stone at a time!
Then the material is dropped on the upper floor and the process continues until all material needed to construct walls is upstairs.
