Really, does it ever get “routine” around here with 24 kids!?  I doubt it, but this is as routine as it gets 🙂  The kids are all back in school and the primary are involved with tutoring after school.  This means not much volleyball these days and I do miss hearing them play but I’m so thankful they are all in school.

We had a couple of kids sick and were taken to the doctor (1 with tonsillitis and the other with a migraine) but both are doing better now.

Construction is moving along on:

the shamba well

down-well-5-21-(1)

this was taken from the upper floor of the mission home

down-well-5-21-(3)the animal shelter

additional-animal-shelter-5-21

Benjamin cleans up the animal area. This is the new section of the animal shelter and our local cows seems to enjoy it….for now!

the mission home

running-electrical

Richard runs conduit for the electricity on the upper floor

running-water-lines-(2)

Water is piped for various needs on the upper floor

and the shamba walking path

shamba-walking-path-(2)

we are making a walking path around the shamba so even after it rains you can walk around without getting muddy. The culverts in the foreground will be put under the driveway for drainage during the rainy season.  The mission home is in the background.

We also had to make a small modification to our gate for the mission home.  Bear learned how to jump the gate so we had a welder put up a grate so he can no longer get out (which gives me peace of mind).

May those near and far see God’s glory in the routine at C4KK!
