As promised here is the second half of yesterday’s blog post.
This is Indekhwa, he was found naked, begging for food. He was born with a physical deformity and when his father died his mother abandoned him to his grandparents. You met his grandfather (Okemi) in yesterday’s post. Through the Benevolence fund Idekhwa was given some clothes, bedding and other essentials.
“This is the church where little Indekhwa has been spending nights. When darkness fell he would push the wooden door and enter. Did God ever inform him that help was on the way? Just a thought.” Joseck, C4KK Community Outreach Team member.
Leonida is a widow with four children (ages 9, twin 5 year old’s and 2). They are affected by jiggers but “our duty is to show them love and bring back their hope and finally point them to the hope of glory.” (Joseck)
Baby Steve was given some food. His mother, Lucy, has been diagnosed with cancer and the prognosis is not good. She was also given food and medicine to help with her pain. Our friend says he “will be visiting them a lot since the mother is now bedridden and may need my help a lot. If you can support please do so.”
Your prayers for all of these lives are appreciated and we could use your assistance if you are able so more lives can be touched by the servants of our most Glorious Father. Please visit our donation page and donate towards the Benevolence Fund (or any other category which may touch your heart). Thank you for prayerfully considering and have blessed Sunday!
