2014 will be coming to an end here in Kenya in about 10 hours and as I look back we have seen God working throughout every single moment.  This ministry has grown over the past year, God has provided and I pray has been glorified through it.

Here’s an extremely brief look back at what 2014 looked like for Saved By God’s Grace and Caring for Kenya’s Kids.  Ok, it’s a brief look but the post in kind of long, sorry 🙂

January:

The upper floor of the mission home has come a long way.  In January 2014 here is where it sat, and here months later.  We still need to complete the inside with study areas, book shelves, etc. but the kids are using it for tutoring, movies and game area:

Banana stew and textbooks were also a part of January.

February:

This month proved to be one of extra needed prayer.  God heard and got us through those times.

March:

We began giving more responsibility to the Kenyan staff on various matters and Bear joined our family!

April:

C4KK donated several rabbits and the rabbit house to Koma Ranch Primary School for their animal project.  Easter we had family/group photos taken with lots of smiles.

May:

Kids returning to school, dentist trips, matching program a success and villagers were assisted through C4KK Benevolence with a community well!

June:

This month started with a bang with a family receiving love and hope through your donations to C4KK Benevolence.  We helped a family get water piped to their home but because of circumstances within the family, Winnie, the only girl in the family, came to live at C4KK, plus several other families were shown love too throughout this month.  And we got our first cows!

July:

July had a lot of C4KK Benevolence stories….More Hope, you learned how much it costs for projects, Kennedy touched my heart and was assisted, and more updates.

August:

This month was spent in preparation of our U.S. visitors, their activities and departure. You can check out most of August’s posts to see more of their activities.  Plus Pixie joined our family.

December:

Friends visiting (and more friends visiting), meeting new friends, preparing for the kids return from holiday, Christmas time and spreading Christmas cheer with cookies on Christmas day.

Phew, what a year!  God continually provided, upheld, strengthened, tested and blessed us throughout 2014 and He certainly blessed us with wonderful friends and supporters to this ministry.  I guess once I get this posted you’ll still have a few hours to get in your 2014 charitable donations to Saved By God’s Grace (www.SavedByGodsGrace.org) if you are looking for that last minute donation option 🙂

Just fyi, we’ve been out of power since Monday the 29th and we are told we won’t be back online until January 3rd.  Hoping to get stuff posted when generator is on or, like now, use up my battery.  The kids are returning tonight from their holiday and I’m sure I’ll be getting photos of them as they prepare for their first term of new school year.

Thank you for all your support, both financially and prayerfully.  We appreciate them and ask for your continued support as we seek God’s will for us through this ministry here in Kenya.  Praying you all have a very blessed 2015 as you follow the One who transcends all time.
