Things have not quite gotten back to “normal” around here at C4KK…ok, who am I kidding, it’s never really normal around here!  We still have one kid left to get into school, hoping that will be this Friday.  Then we’ll have discussions begin on getting the other two into some sort of vocational/training program.  But things are still happening around the country through C4KK Benevolence.

The food distribution in Dunholm for street boys continues.  The director of that program, Beverly, says “We fed 25 treasures yesterday..God provided a church nearby the soccer “field” that we can use for our program! One boy had open wound on his hand..First Aid kit to the rescue..but I’ll be looking for a healthcare volunteer to check these boys asap. Also need hair shaver..lice killer..small water tank..towels..toiletries.. Hmmm the list goes on..and God knows..one step at a time!

Also our friend, Ben, who helps those living with HIV/AIDS is looking for assistance.  Lydia is a child who came to live with Ben in 2013.  Two months after she arrived at his home he wrote “When she came to our house about two months ago, she was blind, weak, sickly, with no hair on her head and dying, but today look at the beautiful smile she has. She has been busy decorating our house in preparation for christmas. She has changed alot. We will try plaiting her hair, a thing she has not done for years.”  Here’s the photo he had with this:

This angel has now gone to be with the Lord and Ben is praying “We are planning to bury Lydia this coming Saturday. We have hospital and mortuary bills to clear and then transport her to her village in Western Kenya. Praying that God will provide resources so that we can bury our daughter. Praying.lydia
