I know without a doubt God is moving in particular areas of Kenya. How can I be so sure?  Satan is working hard to oppose all that is being done, he’s mad the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being taught and accepted.

The people we are working with all over Kenya are telling us stories of what opposition they are dealing with.  Please allow me to pass along their struggles and I ask you to keep them in prayer as they continue, even against those who want them to quit, to live out the Gospel message.

people complain that i am receiving to much credit from the people (who are being assisted). They want me stopped from giving care to people living/dying with HIV/AIDS. It has not been easy working there in the past two weeks, but we will continue being a blessing to God‘s people. Today, i have people asking for food of which i have a couple of dehydrated stuff to distribute. Will sneak into homes and deliver the stuff before anyone can notice that i was around.

“We were not looking for praise from people, not from you or anyone else.”  1 Thessalonians 2:6

“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”  Hebrews 13:16

When people in this community were interviewed to find out how caregivers were doing our friends name kept coming up as the one who helped the most.

Now, this did not amuse other caregivers who think that we should stop doing what we do and leave it to them.”

“Some are even saying that i am a devil worshipper and thats why i have money to help people.”

The issue as I see it is these other “caregivers” think our friend is getting money somehow and they want in on it for the praise and glory of themselves and I say let them have it this side of eternity.

Another friend is being pressured to not do so much good…by the churches!  He is outspoken in how “churches” are not spreading the Gospel, preachers are pressuring their congregants to serve them not the community and no one is seeing who Jesus Christ really is.

For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction….You became imitators….of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.  And so you became a model to all the believers.your faith in God has become known everywhere. ”  1 Thessalonians 1:4-8

Another friend has been working diligently in her community to get parents and guardians involved.  Bless her heart she knows her fellow Kenyans and has asked us to only assist with specific requests….meaning she will assist but also demands the parent/guardian do something along with her/us.  She has not been feeling well and is mentally exhausted.  She mentioned turning off her phone on Tuesday and I told her I would text her on Monday to remind her to take a day off and rest!
