Today Peter (C4KK social worker/children’s home manager) is having the kids write their sponsors. The upper primary were at school, but they’ll write their letters when they get home. It’s funny to watch the kids as they write because they take it so seriously. They’ll make 2 or 3 drafts of the letter before being satisfied with the final.
Our sponsors already know this but we do not edit the kids’ letters in any way and are sent “as is”. Therefore the letters say exactly what the kids want to tell their sponsors. I know they enjoy writing and I also know they enjoy receiving letters, so if you get a chance sponsors please take a moment to send a greeting to your child. They’ll be thrilled!
I also peeked my head into the boys dorm…whoa! Boys will be boys but Dorcas (child welfare assistant) will be assisting the boys in getting this room cleaned up!
