One of the self sustaining projects we are working on is a chicken project in Luanda. Fencing has been put up for the chicken coop and progress continues. This project will help the community in a couple of ways. One, we’ll need a couple of workers to maintain the coop and this will enable these families to take care of their personal needs. Second, the profit from this project will help to offset the costs of the feeding program in Luanda currently covered by the C4KK Benevolence Fund, helping to make it self sufficient.
We are so thankful to the person who donated this land so this self-sustaining project could be implemented. The well you see in the photo is the community well project C4KK did a some time back so the well is now part of the donated land.
