Can you guess what time that would be? No? I’ll give you a hint….
WE ARE COMING TO THE U.S.!
Ok, can you guess now?
That’s right, Chuck and I are scheduled to arrive in the United States June 5. Hoping it doesn’t go at a snails pace until then. I actually saw this critter on the walking path and needed the opportune time to post it 🙂
We may be crazy but we’ll be arriving in hot Phoenix for June and July (and probably part of August). To be honest I really don’t care how hot it is….we’ll be visiting our kids (and friends)! Although our eldest, Tarrin, will be leaving one week before our arrival to go and live in Australia 🙁
We are getting things organized around here at C4KK so a sooner departure was possible (yeah!). Plans are, God willing, to be in Phoenix for June, July and part of August. We’ll then leave there and head to Michigan and will stay through Thanksgiving. Then it’s back to Phoenix to be with our kids (Tarrin will be joining us for a bit) for Christmas and to enjoy the cooler months of January and part of February 🙂
Our departure date to return to Kenya will be around the beginning of March. So other than me telling you this exciting news (at least for me it’s exciting) I’m also putting out the request for assistance while we are in the States. Funding to help us live while in the States is one request (please write “Come Home” in the comment section).
Another request is for speaking engagements. If you or you know of someone who would like Chuck and I to speak about Saved By God’s Grace and Caring for Kenya’s Kids (along with the Gospel message) please let me know via email and we’ll begin filling up our calendar.
Looking forward to seeing many of you once again and meeting many of you who have joined this ministry since we’ve been in the States last.
So grateful you get a true respite . we will be praying for all aspects of you time. Support peace and genuine rest.
You have been an encouragement to me by the good works that you are doing in Kenya. I keenly follow you on social media and its awesome how the ministry has spread its wings to include more people. Sad that you will be away for a while but you need the rekindling. Praying for you always. Mungu awabariki.
Tammy/Chuck, I’m excited to see that things are working out for you to be back home sooner! I didn’t know….just saw that on here and am thrilled! If things keep going the way they’re going, I don’t think it’ll be crazy hot in Phoenix by the time you get here….at least that’s been my experience in Dallas…cool weather for mid May, except the crazy storms. I wish you much success and a great time, unwinding, visiting with family & friends, and raising support to further God’s mission for the kids in Kenya. Looks like we’ll miss each other until March 2016!!!! I love you guys & wish you God’s peace as you prepare to travel.
