Chuck and I have been traveling the past couple of days, heading from Michigan to Arizona. We were blessed by a friend for our hotel stays and good weather for the drive. We are looking forward to seeing friends and having our first Christmas with our kids in several years. So that pretty much catches you up on us…
Some of you may have heard about our friend Joseck, he is a dear friend and fellow worker with us in Kenya. He has been in the hospital with what they thought may be a heart attack. Today we found out some good news and we thank you for your prayers and financial support during this time. The doctors found a small clot in a vessel which will be treated with medication and the lining of one lung is perforated due to pneunomia. Joseck had gone to local clinics when he wasn’t feeling well but no one diagnosed pneunomia until now, so it had been in the lungs for quite some time.
Your on going prayers are appreciated for Joseck and continued safety as we travel (we should be in Phoenix on Monday).
We also assisted a small village in getting food items for the Christmas holiday. Many families have a difficult time getting even their daily meals but like most they would like to have a special meal for Christmas and Saved By God’s Grace was able to help (through our friend and fellow worker Ben).
You too can be a part of assisting families like these not only during the holidays but also throughout the year. Please consider becoming a financial partner with us by going to our Donate page (by clicking the Donate tab at the top of this page). Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
