Our kids in Kenya are just ending another term in school which means our Caring for Kenya’s Kids (C4KK) tutoring program will begin in just a few short weeks.

Most of our kids, and those in the surrounding community, look forward to this tutoring time during their school break.  This is an opportunity for them to get a better handle on specific subjects, catch up on what they may have missed in school or a chance to really excel in a subject.

Because of this tutoring program we have several students who have improved their grades and are doing well in school.  At the end of school last year we had 37 students participating in tutoring.  Out of those 37 students 15 sat for their KCSE (secondary education testing) and from those, 13 scored a C+ and above.  This grade allows these students a chance at tertiary education and is a tremendous improvement from previous scores before tutoring was put into place.

Due to the success of our tutoring program many parents in the community are requesting for their child to be a part of the C4KK tutoring program.  With your assistance we can invite more and see the number of achieving students increase.

This August will be another C4KK tutoring session and we are asking for $1,300 to help cover the costs and expenses. If you can help with this please visit our Donate Page to securely donate online.  Please comment “tutoring” in the comment section.  Thank you and God Bless!
