GivingTuesday is today and I thought I’d give you a quick update on what’s been happening through Saved By God’s Grace and your donations.
Along with their regular hot meal and food supplies for the month of December our grandmothers will also be receiving a sweater!
Our donors have committed to two well projects. These communities will soon have clean, safe drinking water!
The last tutoring session was a record breaker with the amount of kids. It was such a blessing to see so many faces using the C4KK facility–they filled the rooms!
What’s still needed?
We are requesting donors to help with the chapati Christmas project. This project gives families–suffering from or living with someone suffering from AIDs–a hot meal and the ingredients to make their own chapati (a type of flat bread) for the holiday. This costs $1800.
The other project is building three homes. Each home costs $1500 to build and will give a family a safe, comfortable place to live.
