From my childhood to now that i am a mother, I have never slept on a bed and a mattress. Thank God for the Angel who God sent to remember me and my babies.
Her husband was a watchman in the city. One day thugs attacked him butchering him to death leaving Christine a widow. Their house is almost collapsing. I offered to buy her some timber of which i did….but she badly needed a house and did put up the structure and the dirt. Now, she has been turned into a laughing stock by her neighbors because she can’t afford 25 mabatis. Praying that God will help her.
She said this was the best thing that has happened to her after a long time.

We were turned into a laughing stock. Now, God has remembered us by sending His Angels. I, now believe there is God.

Her husband died early this year leaving her with 5 children. First born is 15 yrs old. Whenever it rains at night they all have to stand since it leaks everywhere in the house. We may consider helping her in the future as per the availability of funds.
Gave birth to twins and during the delivery time something happened to her brain she is not acting normal and the babies need a lot of care food wise. Will see the way forward…maybe cow milk on a daily basis.
She is a widow and her community believes that a woman who gives birth to twins is a cursed woman especially if the husband died. Hellen struggles with her two year old twins always breastfeeding since she can’t afford to buy enough food for herself and her children. They sleep on the floor only cushioned by the mosquito net. She says it’s tough for her and the kids. Our support is what gives her hope.
