“8 hours or 2 weeks”
– we had a painter painting our metal doors with oil based paint and we wanted to know how long until it would be dry. He looked at the door and contemplated the question and said “8 hours”…but as he said that he touched the door which was VERY sticky and said “or 2 weeks”!
