Stephen Toroitich (Child No. ER117)
Stephen lives at Eldama Ravine Children’s Village in Eldama Ravine, Kenya and he was born in 1993 in Lobolos Village.
He is the last born child in a family of four boys.
His father died in 2001 due to highland malaria and his mom passed away in 2002.
Stephen was under the care of his grandmother and, because of her age and being jobless, she was unable to care for all of the children. She decided to admit him to the Children’s Village.
Two of his brothers remain with his grandmother while the other brother is at a different children’s home.
