It was a short visit to Mercy orphanage but Sunday was shoe delivery day. Thanks go to Lucy who made sure each shoe had a match and all shoes had laces.
I also discussed responsible behavior with the kids. It’s ok to ask questions and to not always like the answer but it is never ok to be disrespectful to Annastacia (house mum) or sometimes doing the right thing isn’t so easy to do (like informing an adult when a “friend” does something wrong) or if they are the ones in the wrong, even if they don’t get caught, God ALWAYS sees what they are doing (The Mighty One, God, the LORD! He knows! Joshua 22:22). They may not account for their actions here but one day they will have to account for them before the Almighty.
These kids are like a lot of other kids in that I asked myself a few times “are they listening to me?” I don’t know but I do know Annastacia felt a lot better when we left because she told me “don’t worry mum, God will take care.”
