Got to the Academy Tuesday morning and realized I forgot my internet modem. I was upset, thinking “what am I going to do ALL day long with no internet?” But I found my day to be pretty full:
- talk to the students to get them going on writing responses for the pen-pal program (received all but 12 of them and out of around 75 that’s pretty good!)
- read my devotional
- write in my journal
- type up end of term letter for head teacher and print off copies for her to distribute
- type up beginning of term letter for next year’s returning students
- have lunch
- have tea – twice!
- take some video of the rain – as of this writing still no rain at the farm
- then I even had time to “work” on some photo shopping of a few photos:
Guess having the internet isn’t totally necessary….but (hopefully) I won’t forget it again!
