So you see, we have several animals taking over the compound! One though has captured my heart, Taz.
Taz was brought to the compound as a gift this past Sunday. He is weak, small and has worms. His poor little belly is bloated, he has fleas and a sore paw. I sat with him for a bit on Sunday morning when I first saw him and Chuck said he would be my project…bring him back to health. I wanted to give him a name to aspire to…so Taz is from the Tasmanian devil, one day he will be strong and terrorizing the compound. Please pray for his poor health and that he will rally and become the Taz we hope for him to be.
However even though Taz has a place in my heart Bella still has her favorite spot
Update – Taz received 2 different medicines for worms Monday afternoon and just a few hours later he was unable to stand on his own, hold his head up or walk and was extremely off balance. We wrapped him in a blanket and he fell asleep around 6pm Monday evening and at the time of this update (Tuesday morning around 10:30) hasn’t moved at all (except for breathing). Poor little guy is just not doing well but praying the sleep is helping him. Plus Bella is keeping him company:
Final Update – Taz passed away peacefully this afternoon and I hope I was able to make his last moments comfortable.
