That’s the situation with our water lately….fleeting.  The person who supplies our water had an issue (no need to go into that) and the water stopped flowing last Wednesday.  Luckily we had a few 10 liter bottles (it’s what we use for drinking) so we were able to heat the water for bathing purposes.  It can be quite frustrating, at least for me, bathing in that manor but at least we were able to bath, right?  Then ‘lo and behold the water started pumping into the tank Saturday morning before we left for the property.  As we drove by the well there was a very long line of people catching up on their water needs and I was pretty excited as I knew I’d be able to take a real shower once we returned home, but….

…you guessed it, the water had stopped pumping sometime during the day and the tank was again empty and it was back to “bucket bathing” 🙁

As of Sunday evening the water is still not flowing and I feel sorry for the many, many families who rely on this water for all their daily needs.  It’s put many in a bind for where they will get their water and has shown me one of the major reasons for digging the well at the Children’s Shelter.  (a little shameless promotion…if you’d like to help with the well project please visit our donation page to donate securely online)

Well, guess I need to go heat some water for bathing.
