Yesterday I gave you a very tiny glimpse of what to expect from today’s blog post. Well I’m pleased to announce I was able to upload all my photos. It was a bit difficult to choose these few (you may think there are a lot here!) but I did not have luck in uploading more photos to our photo gallery….I’ll let you know when you can go there to see all the photos!
As mentioned yesterday the older primary kids went on field trips but the little ones weren’t able to attend. They were quite disappointed in not being included but once we told them we were working on a special day for them, well they brightened up. It took us a week or so to work something out (thank you Gladys for setting it up and working with us) but we were able to go on a field trip. Here are a few photos of our fun filled day at the giraffe center and Mamba Village. First though I have to tell you just the ride into town was an exciting time for the kids….looking out the windows at the large trucks, watching out the back window at how close vehicles came to the van and simply being on a trip!
All the kids were able to feed the giraffe!
Then it was off to Mamba Village where the kids saw crocodiles, tortoise and had fun at the amusement park:
After seeing the animals the kids went to the amusement side of the park:
After 45 minutes in the bouncy castle the kids were exhausted! The face painter graciously re-painted the kids faces (all those sweaty faces made the paint run!) and everyone got to pick out one toy (girls picked baby dolls, boys picked squirt guns).
And it was a very quiet ride home!
Thank you Father for this fun time!
