Short update
So what's been happening at C4KK you ask? Well let me see..... * the kids are taking end term exams and will be out of school on the 10th of this month, please keep them in prayer. * construction continues on the mission home, please prayerfully consider assisting...
Hold your tongue
That's my motto today as we await the inspection for C4KK. I don't want to get into much detail but suffice it to say I could get very upset. But I've also got a calmness about me because I know there is nothing I can do or say to thwart the will of God and I also...
Admit it
I'm learning to admit that being away from friends, family and a familiar culture has actually been a good thing....for me and my relationship with God. Back home with all the bustle of the holidays seemed to put the real reason for the celebration on the back burner...
Help requested
I may sound like a broken record but we are approaching the point where construction will be put on hold because of lack of funds for the mission home. Since my last plea at the beginning of this week we have received an additional stone (thank you donor!)....we are...

Sad news
C4KK has not had luck with dogs lately. Unfortunately about two months ago Sheba was bite by something and got rabies so she had to be put down. Then last week Viggo ate some poisoned food (it was at our neighbors....his animals were poisoned and instead of disposing...
A plea
As many of you know, we are in the process of building a mission home (briefly this mission home will not only be our personal residence, but will also accommodate groups of up to 12 people!) Our "Stack the Stones" fundraiser for the mission home is still on-going...
Quick hello
Sorry it's been a few days. Brief update, kids are doing well and hoping to get their new uniforms next week (thank you to all who helped with that extra expense). The shamba is doing well and tomato harvests continue. Progress continues on the mission home. That...
