Mama Veronica couldn’t walk due to jiggers on her feet so she would walk on her knees.
Elizabeth (a nurse who has volunteered her time to help mama Veronica with her feet) helps Veronica take her first step in 6 years!
Elizabeth is also visiting Hezekiah and tending to his wounds.
Kennedy (you can read his story here) had his surgery and another good samaritan paid his hospital bill (so he wasn’t in hospital jail any longer), past rent and some food for his family (wife and 5 kids). Here they are leaving the hospital.
Unfortunately the hospital no longer had wheelchairs for sale (and the ones in town were not affordable) so Kennedy had to be carried from the taxi to home….his poor wife was really trying!
So happy to see Kennedy at home and recovering. C4KK Benevolence is looking into helping with a few months rent so they can get back on their feet…literally and figuratively.
