Luanda is having it’s own “house reveal”! Sorry I don’t even know if that’s the name of the show or tag line or what but the C4KK Benevolence/Outreach team has been working on extending Mama Ann’s home. The original home was one room and very tiny, as you can see from the photo, and she and her three children were quite squeezed.
A bunk bed was recently set up in the home and you can see the tight squeeze of the bed:
We had a minor setback in the beginning. The man who donated the poles backed out of his commitment (he wanted us to buy them instead), but neighbors rallied together, with I’m sure some elegant persuasion by Joseck, and were able to begin construction.
The team has been working through the rain to construct the additional room onto the home:
It’s a slow process of putting up the poles then packing mud.
Mama Ann’s was also the place where two neighbors came to know the Lord through the witness of seeing Jesus’ hands and feet loving their neighbor!
Thank you donors for making Mama Ann a little more comfortable in her home, thank you C4KK Outreach team for your generous sacrifice of time to help and thank you Heavenly Father for the opportunity to see your blessings on this family.
