C4KK has two new sponsorship opportunities! The first is Jonathan.
Jonathan graduated from Form 4 (12th grade) in 2014 with an A! He is currently working at C4KK with the cows and is doing a very good job. His dream, however, is to continue his education, but funds are the issue. His opportunities are severely limited due to the poverty of his family but with his scores he has the potential of going far. Out of approximately 450,000 students who sat for the exam, 14,841 received A and A-. If you would be interested in sponsoring Jonathan at $70 per month his choices open up. The second is Mary.
We’ve worked with Mary for years, getting her through primary and secondary school. Her family life has been tough, with just her mom and herself. The uncles (father’s brothers) were abusive and that put a lot of pressure on Mary during her primary years, but she persevered by God’s grace! She had a bit of trouble in secondary but after a stern parental talk with her she “pulled up her socks” and graduated with a C. She then began working at a mPesa kiosk, saving money and figuring out what exactly she wanted to do with her life. After a year she came to us requesting assistance to help her go to school for airline cabin crew training. She investigated schools, figured out her living expenses, of which she had saved so was able to pay for them and came to us with all this worked out…..wow, was I proud of this girl!
