First I’d like to thank everyone who helped with school fees! Education is not free in Kenya so many children are not able to attend school but through your donations, around 70 children are attending school.
Wouldn’t it be nice if that were a one time occurrence, if paying once would allow the child to stay in school for their entire primary or secondary education? But that isn’t the case, unfortunately. Until the government of Kenya sees the value in educating their children and provides free education we’ll be assisting with what we can.
Not only do kids need school fees but they are also required to wear a uniform to school. Again, many families can’t pay the fees so a uniform is also out of the question. However, if they are able to buy a uniform (or if Saved By God’s Grace provides them with one) they normally don’t have the funds to repair it or buy new ones when the child outgrows the current uniform.
These are on-going needs which aren’t always mentioned here on the blog, but they are frequently requested of this ministry to provide. Please consider donating towards a child’s education or uniform. Let’s help more children go to school with dignity and a decent uniform.
Our friend Ben knows these children personally and would like to help them get new uniforms. Can you help? If so, please visit our website’s donation page to donate online or by check and write “Ben” in the comment/memo section.
Thank you in advance and thank you again to those who helped get kids into school!
