Today we are traveling to Nairobi to pick up 2 visitors. I hope they don’t mind the mess in the house…construction is still ongoing. Once we pick them up and come back home, probably around 5pm, we’ll have to move our bed into our new bedroom (hopefully the workers will have gotten it completely clean for us) and move their beds into our old room, which will now be called our guest room!
Chuck and I painted the bathroom and now we are waiting for the paint smell to go away…again I hope the visitors are flexible with their surroundings! Tomorrow we’ll hang the shower curtain and the curtain for the window…a little privacy for our visitors.
I’m sure we’ll be spending a lot of time at Nice View next week because Kelli (one of the visitors) is looking at the curriculum and discussing which classes should be added in order for the students to be prepped for university. Kelli is from Delta College in Michigan and they have a sister college in Nakuru, Kenya. We are very excited to hear her input and advice.
Now, I’m asking for suggestions…the back of our bathroom (choo) door is going to be used as a guest sign in place. It will be a place to sign your name, favorite verse, saying etc. and give others something to read while, ahem, you know. Please comment any suggested names and I’ll let you know which we choose.
