Spent the day at the farm and found you could easily eat lunch off the farm with what’s growing there (however some you may have to wait for it to ripen!)

tomatoes - once ripe these are delicious!

skuma - this skuma isn't very healthy-there was plenty more but had already been picked

spinach-again delicious!

cilantro-for a little spice!

pumpkin

Meat! But these aren't ours so no meat on the menu!

watermelon for dessert

or perhaps you prefer this type of watermelon

You see….lunch!  Now these next photos aren’t lunch related just kind of cool 🙂

sap on the tree in the middle of the farm

more sap

love the colors of this bird

Eating off the land is something I never thought I’d be doing (after all doesn’t food come from a grocery store!?)  but God willing once the new children’s home is built we’ll be farming the land and the kids will be eating food they’ve helped to grow.
