On Friday my plans were to go to the property, make some phone calls and write a letter….

Saturday came and I was not feeling well.  Actually I felt ok enough to go to the property but the ride there took it out of me.  Since we were at the property though I figured I’d get a few shots of the progress on the construction.

We got a new cart which helps with the water situation on the construction site.  Before it was an every other day event taking the truck to the river and filling (bucket by bucket) these tanks – actually the smaller ones since the 1000 liter one couldn’t be moved off the truck once it was filled.  Now they simply hook up the cart to the truck, use a pump to pump the water and the water lasts approximately 2-3 days.  Very nice!

As with any job site there are hazards, like flat wheelbarrow tires:

The foundation is poured and now for the flooring and walls.  You can see the latrine/shower area building almost complete!

Although I spent the entire afternoon in bed I at least was able to update you on the construction 🙂  By the way, it’s Sunday and I’m feeling much better.
