With the impending elections in the United States arriving quickly I thought you might enjoy this.  Kenyans will be casting their votes in March….well I say that but that depends on many issues.  Some in charge are trying to sabotage those efforts by delaying the voting machines being delivered or the fact you need an ID to vote but the government isn’t providing those in time (yet) for people to vote, but that’s not why I’m writing.  Voters may see a person on the ballot who is being charged with crimes in the International Criminal Court (ICC).

As Kofi Annan, the African Union envoy who mediated the 2008 peace deal, said recently, if an ICC suspect assumes the presidency in the next election, the consequences for Kenya could be disastrous politically and economically.
