This week we have a visitor from the UK staying with us. Aminata found us by searching for missionaries in Kenya, we began emailing back and forth and now she’s here. I have to admit I’m enjoying listening to her talk…cute accent! Anyway, she had a program figured out based on the kids being in school, but alas the teachers are still on strike so she’s had to revamp her program to fill in A LOT more time with the kids! She’s doing such a great job with them. Peter (our social worker) said he thought it was all just fun and games until she began building on those games for character building, gift assessment, opening up conversation and much more.
I hear chairs being pushed around upstairs, happy yelling outside and see lots of smiles…thanks Aminata and I hope the Lord will allow you to come and visit us again.
