We are getting into the nitty gritty of preparations for our departure date in early August….needless to say….this is Kenya!  Your prayers are appreciated for details to be worked out (even though we thought they were already worked out) and reminders that, yes even through the frustrations, God is in control!

But enough of that, here’s a praise report from the field in Kenya.

I am so thankful to God for this new roof, says mama.

Nancy Magova (pictured below holding her baby),23 years lives with her widowed mother (pictured above) in the house we are repairing today. Nancy registered and successfully sat and completed her Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Examination in the year 2011. She scored a B- with (54 Marks) . Her efforts to get her KCSE Certificate has been difficult because the school she attended says her certificate was delivered from the National Examination Body without her picture on it and therefore she should pay 5,000 Kenya shilling in order to correct the error. She has been denied good prospects since 2011 and now she almost loosing hope of ever pursuing her dreams in life. Do we have someone out there that can help Nancy receive her deserved certificate since without it all her learning history is zero.

Joseck, Outreach coordinator for Caring for Kenya’s Kids in Luanda, stands with mama and Nancy in praising God for His provision.
