All of us here at Saved By God’s Grace know the sacrifices many of you make to help widows, orphans, grandparents and caregivers in Kenya.  We so appreciate your continued support.  We also know life can bring changes and with those changes some of our sponsors are no longer able to continue with their sponsorship.  How do those changes affect this ministry?  With a limited amount of resources some things can not be done if we want to keep our kids in school.

Below are the students who are in need of sponsorship. Some need help getting through primary school ($40/month) while others are in or just beginning secondary school ($80/month).  We do have opportunities for co-sponsorship as well.  In this program the sponsorship cost is split between two sponsors.  If you are unable to commit for the entire secondary sponsorship perhaps you and a friend could go in together, or two families.  You will read below that we do have co-sponsors for a few kids already and are requesting for another co-sponsor to come along and help keep another child in school.

If you are able to help please visit our Donate Page to set up your sponsorship today.  Please write the child’s name in the comment section if you are interested in one particular child, or you can simply choose “child sponsorship” and we can assign a child to you.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration and God bless!

Mercy is in Form 3 (11th grade) this year and ended last year with a B+ (despite attempts from others to end her education).  She is a very bright and dedicated student.  We are looking for a co-sponsor for Mercy at $40/month.  If you are able to make this commitment I know she would be extremely grateful.

Winnie (on the right) came to us after her home situation became unsafe.  Even with a serious medical condition and several hospital visits she achieved a C on her Form 2 (10th grade) final exam.  She is now in Form 3 and I know she will continue to put forth effort even among difficulty.  We would like to find a co-sponsor for Winnie at $40/month.

Isaac finished Class 7 (7th grade) at the top of his class being first out of 66 students.  He is focused and determined to do well in school.  Isaac’s current sponsorship would be $40/month until his Class 8 graduation (end of 2017).  If you are able to help please set up your sponsorship today!

Ah, Beryl our sweet daughter who was rescued from a horrible situation (you can read her story here).  For years Beryl was not attending school and had a tough go of it when we first put her into school.  Even now she struggles but pushes herself to do as well as she can.  She finished Class 7 (at the end of 2016) being position 40 out of 63 students.  Beryl’s sponsorship would be $40/month which would help her finish Class 8.

Geraldine is as sweet as she looks!  She finished Class 4 (4th grade) last year being position 15 out of 80.  Her single mom does the best she can so your sponsorship would be a tremendous help in keeping Geraldine in school.  Her sponsorship is $40/month.

Jonathan was among the first of our sponsorship opportunities in this ministry!  High school started in January but due to a change in his sponsors situation we are unable to assist at this time.  Jonathan graduated Class 8 with a score of 366 out of 500.  To help Jonathan through his secondary schooling would be $80/month.  Along with his school fees he would need an additional one time donation of $350 to set him up with the supplies he will need to begin school (that includes mattress, bedding, uniform, shoes, bathing bucket and all necessary items to live at school).

Our prayer here at Saved By God’s Grace is to continue assisting these kids, who have been a part of our lives for years, to stay in school.  Your sponsorship helps us do that and allows our other programs to continue on.  We have sponsors who have seen their sponsored child go from primary to secondary and some onto college or vocational school.  What a gift being given…educating the youth of Kenya!

Please consider becoming a sponsor or a monthly supporter of this ministry and watch as you bring hope to many.

Also feel free to contact us if you have any questions on sponsorship.
