Ah, the joy of working with volunteers! Saved By God’s Grace has been blessed in Kenya with God fearing, moral men and women who want to serve their neighbors through service.
We have people who make clothes, donate items such as clothes, food and furnishings, have construction skills and those who are able to help with medical needs such as jiggers.
With this team of beautiful volunteers we are able to get stuff done without the expense of labor, yet they also have families to feed. So when we are able we do give them something for their time, but when they have a paying job they must leave what they are doing in order to provide for themselves and their families.
This home is being built by volunteers, but for awhile now it will stand as is while our volunteers attend to other matters. We don’t grumble because of it but instead thank God He provides for us all in whichever way He sees fit.
Please keep our volunteers in prayer as they continue to seek God’s will in their own lives and continue showing the love of Christ through their actions.
