Could you ever imagine that a few cookies (or biscuits as they are called in Kenya) might bring a smile to a child’s face? Our friend and fellow worker in Kenya, Ben, visited this young girl and told us this story:
She came asking me to buy her new school uniforms. She saw me eating some “strange” thing. I told her it’s called biscuits and even convinced her to eat some. It wasn’t easy, but she gave it a try. See the smile on face in the last picture.
Bringing hope to the hopeless is a large part of what Saved By God’s Grace does in Kenya, but we also like to bring a little happiness too and sometimes that comes in the form of a tiny biscuit!
