Do you sometimes wonder, years after giving a gift, if that gift is still in use, still a blessing?  We are fortunate to tell you, YES, in this family’s case your financial gift is still blessing Ken!

Ken had been in a motorbike accident and was in the hospital for almost two months without any chance of receiving the help he needed due to lack of funds.  He worked hard providing for his family but that left nothing for his medical situation.  You can read more of his story here.

Now we have an update for you from our friend Ben in Kenya:

A couple of years ago this guy was involved in a motorbike bike accident. He was rushed to hospital with a broken thigh bone. On admission the hospital demanded a deposit of $400 of which Ken and his family could not raise. He stayed in the hospital bed with the broken thigh bone for a month and a half before we came across him. All this time he had been surviving on painkillers. His wife could not bear with his conditions and left. The kids were at the mercy of neighbours and other well wishers. His local church abandoned him at his hour of great need. We quickly organized on how to get funds and by God’s Grace we were able to raise the funds. He was taken to the theatre room and his thigh bone fixed. We went an extra mile and paid his house rent that was in arrears, bought them food and even had his wife come back. Later on we paid the remaining hospital bill and Ken was released from hospital. Today, he can can afford a smile and his family is together, because of your LOVE.

This is only one story of a gift continuing to bless a family.  With your assistance people have food, a home, an education, health, medicines, all of which help each individual to live another day.  We have heard the praises of those who have received your gift, praises to our Almighty God who moves His people to help.

Please consider becoming a monthly partner with us and bring hope to more families living in Kenya.
