It’s been a long time in coming but the chickens are laying eggs! Yeah God!
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Blessed Sacrament Church in Midland, MI for their ongoing support of this project. We’ve gone from empty land to a stocked chicken coop and now the chickens are producing and those eggs are being sold. This project will bring employment, help with a food program we run in the area and in the future build a women’s shelter.
There are many details I’m not including here but you are always welcome to type “chicken” in the search box below the blog and various posts will be there with those details.
For now though I’ll show you some recent photos of the chicken project…other than the one to the right which is from the start of this project when we only had a well and a fence around the property.
