This isn’t really a question we think about here in the States much, maybe for college, but normally not for primary or secondary schooling, right?  Paying for college tuition is normal but what about paying a fee for attending elementary or high school?  How would life be different if we had to write a check to the school four times a year for our child’s entire elementary and high school years?

In Kenya this is the norm…paying for your education, whether it’s primary or secondary.  Saved By God’s Grace has been blessed with sponsors who have helped us with those fees for the kids we were living with at C4KK in Kenya but life happens and some sponsors had to stop their sponsorship.

This is always a tough thing to tell the kids because they know how difficult life is in Kenya and that their families can not afford to pay school fees.  They know that with the support of a sponsor they will have an opportunity to finish school, unlike many children in Kenya.  We do all we can to keep them in school but it stretches the ministry and other programs must suffer, like our jigger removal efforts, food distribution, medical assistance and building/repairing homes.

We are seeking to find 4 families, couples or individuals who can commit to $75/monthly to help a secondary student finish school.  We would like to fill 2 sponsorship’s for three years, 1 sponsorship for 2 years and 1 sponsorship for 1 year.

If you are interested you can begin your sponsorship today by simply emailing to let me know which timeline you would like to assist with and we can begin the process.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration.  God bless and have a very blessed Thanksgiving holiday.

These photos are a couple of years old (taken while I was living in Kenya) but starting from the far left and moving clockwise is Francis, Beryl, Naomi and Isaac.  These are the students in need of a sponsor to help them finish their secondary schooling.
