Today I’m going to share with you two situations which give you a brief glimpse of what Saved By God’s Grace is requested to assist with.  As you read their stories (which will be direct and to the point) ask yourself at what point in the suffering do you give up hope?  As a believer in Jesus Christ I know where my hope is but honestly I can not even imagine how that hope would be tested in this way.  Saved By God’s Grace reaches out to those who have lost hope and through your donations we pray they see the love of God and know that Love on a personal level.

On a daily basis this ministry is bombarded with requests for assistance.  Those range from food, to clothing, to school fees, to medicine, to housing or any number of other basic necessities.  We are often put into a position of choosing who gets help and who doesn’t simply because of funding but back when this ministry began God specifically told Chuck and I to tell the story and He would provide through His people.  So that’s what I’m doing…telling and trusting God.  That is why we don’t give in or give up hope, our mission is to serve the people in Kenya for however long the Lord leads and to see His love covering those crisis situations.

One woman is pregnant, weak, lonely and starving.”  She sleeps on the ground with only a thin blanket to protect her from the cold ground.

“Another is a mother of 5, widowed is bedridden with completely no one to help her. Her first born daughter is in form 2 [10 grade] and it seems like she will have to drop out of school [because mom can not pay school fees]. I pray in future we help them with food and basics as the Lord provides. For, now the best that i can do is to bathe them, go to hospital and bring them their ARVs [antiretroviral medication for the treatment of HIV/AIDS], keep them company etc. Mungu akubariki [God bless] for all that you do.”

Through your donations we were able to assist with beds, food and medicine.

Thank you for helping these families and others.

Mom and baby now have a warm bed with blankets to sleep on.

This family now has a bed to sleep on, food and medicines

Please prayerfully consider donating to Saved By God’s Grace.  Your donations will help families in various situations and show them they are not forgotten.

The beginning of the year is always a large financial burden for the ministry as it is the time for our students to begin school and the school’s all “front end load” the fees.  If you can help with this we would be appreciative and until December 31 your donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Simply visit our Donate page, click “Donate Now”, fill out the form and choose “Child Education” in the allocation drop down box.

Thank you again for your continued support of Saved By God’s Grace and may your new year be filled with God’s peace and blessing.
