Just because you haven’t heard from me in awhile doesn’t mean we aren’t working….it’s just that donations are substantially down and we are limited in the projects we can do.
We continue supporting our kids in their primary and secondary schooling but a few kids, who do not have sponsors, have been invited to college and we simply do not have the funds to assist. In order to get all our kids in school (including those without sponsors) we will need approximately $10,000 USD by September.
Our housing repairs and building have slowed down as well. We encourage our friends in Kenya to seek support from their local businesses to get what little work done they can. One housing project has been on hold due to lack of funds. To finish Lydia’s home (you can read more on that here) we still need $2,000.
The grandmothers food program still continues monthly and Faith (she runs the program) sends her gratitude.
