This week is Thanksgiving and I pray you have a blessed and thankful holiday.

Here at Saved By God’s Grace we are looking towards our Christmas programs we normally try to sponsor and with your help they can be fulfilled….

1.  Chapatti program for our AIDS support group in Nakuru.  This group consists of single mothers who are in need of encouragement.  We do this partly by providing them with the ingredients for a holiday meal.  Chapatti is a traditional, special food item for the holiday and Ben (our partner on the ground) gathers the fixings and distributes to the families in need.

2.  Sweaters for our grandmothers in Ruiru.  Faith, she runs the Bible study/meal/food distribution each month, organizes over 100 grandmothers each month to gather together for fellowship.  Giving them each a sweater would not only encourage them but would be helpful in the chilly months.

3.  Food distribution in Joska.  Peter, our social worker for Caring for Kenya’s Kids, goes to the families we support and distributes various food items.

These programs will run around $5,000 total and would bless many, many families, children and grandparents.

In addition to our holiday programs we are always looking at school fees.  In January our kids will be going back to school and as usual, school fees will be needed.

We will need an additional $5,000 to get all the kids back into school.

If you are able to help with either of these please visit our “Donate Page” to securely give online.

May you be blessed this holiday season as we give thanks to God for all He has provided and the gift of His Son.
