“Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.” Exodus 20:11
Ok we don’t have Moses, we have Ken. The rock is struck much more than twice, probably going to be blasted a few times along with being struck! Water hasn’t gushed out but we are anticipating good water flow. BUT the shelter, livestock and community will drink from this well…that is once piping is laid.
Ken began digging the well, by hand and has reached approximately 12 feet down with the help of 1 blasting so far.
Here’s a look at the position of the well in perspective to the shelter:
As the well is being dug the boys are continuing to dig out soil to make pathways and drives along the shelter and shamba. I’m hearing good things from Roman and Bosco in regards to a couple of the boys’ work ethic. Funny, it’s the 2 boys who are doing very well in school too…they know how to self-motivate themselves to get a job done!
While work progresses I am not embarrassed to say funds are ALWAYS needed to continue. If you would like to help please visit our donation site where you can donate securely online. Thank you for any and all help!
